Sophie at 2 months

Getting bundled up to go outside and HATING every minute of it.

Sleeping soundly after all of the torture:)

Sophie with her fists ready to throw a punch:) She always has her fists balled up like this shoving them into her mouth.

Sophie is now 2 months old. She weighed in at 10 lbs. 8 oz. She is growing way too fast! She gives sweet smiles, mostly after being fed. I tried to get a smile on camera but was unsuccessful, her fists were too yummy:)

1 month old and first day back

Here is a chubalicious picture of Sophie at 1 month old. She weighs 9 lbs. 9 oz. now and is 21.5 inches long. Those cheeks are getting a lot of love these days:)

Here is Sophie at 5 weeks old and her first day of church. I like to take a good month off from going to church, especially in the cold and flu season. I really miss going to church after about week 3, but once I'm back I feel good and ready to be there.

All of the kiddos before church. I wanted to take a picture of the whole family but we didn't have time to set it up, and I was frantically running around trying to find my nylons:) Tyler and Halle have been a big help with the baby, they love her so much!

A visit from Grandma and Halloween

Sophie snoozing while we were waiting for Grandma Pearson to get to our house. She got to stay with us for a week! We are missing her already:)Sophie and Grandma Pearson. We were so lucky to have grandma visit us in Cleveland. She was amazing, magical really, I would wake up and the laundry would be missing from everyones hamper and then it would magically appear all folded on my bed:) We appreciate all that you did for us while you were here and can't wait to see you in December!!!!

Here is little Sophie again. She had 2 little Halloween outfits and she wore this one to Tylers school parade. Her little cheeks are getting chubby.

I laughed so hard when I saw this picture. Chase had taken it while I was getting Halle ready. He said Tyler posed all on his own, it just really cracked me up. He is quite the scary vampire!

Sweet Halle was Thumbelina this year. When asked what she was going to be for Halloween she would say, " I'm going to be Barbie Fumbelina, and wear makeup!!!" I just loved how she says Fumbelina, too cute.

"Fumbelina" and the scary vampire!

Sophie in her 2nd halloween outfit:)

Her pumpkin bum:) Look at all that hair!

The 3 munchkins ready for trick or treating!

Baby Girl

Sophie Lynn Pearson
Born October 2, 2009 2:10 am
6lbs. 12oz. 19 1/4 in. long
We are so excited for little Sophie to be a part of our family. Everyone is doing well and adjusting to having a new baby around. Tyler and Halle have been big helpers and it already seems weird to think that she hasn't always been around. Everything with the labor and delivery went really well, my best one yet. It still came fast (started contractions at 10:30, went to the hospital at 11:30, got the epidural at 1:00 and she was born at 2:10, I was just so happy to get an epidural:)

Tyler and Halle liked my hospital bed a lot. They would take turns with the remote putting it up and down. The baby even got in on some of the action.

I almost cried seeing my mom come in my hospital room. I'm 29 and yes I still want and need my mom:) I don't know if you can see it very well in this picture but Tyler lost his first tooth in the car ride home from visiting me in the hospital. He was pumped that the tooth fairy brought him a dollar!

Big sister Halle the helper:) When I bathe the baby Halle has to pick out what she will wear and then help me get out all of the bath stuff. She then folds what she picked out at least 3 times and tells me to be careful with Sophie's head to not get it in the water too much:)

Sophie just a few days old

About a week old

A tearful goodbye:) Mom thank you so much for helping us out for a week, you are amazing, we love you so much!!!

Our family of 5!

Checking dad out

Thanks Kenna for the cute outfits and bows, I couldn't resist trying the bows on her, but I did spare her from trying the clothes on, she'll have to grow into those:)

Just embrace it

It's January in Cleveland! We're in the middle of a snow storm here and having a good time with it. I was supposed to go on a temple trip today down in Columbus with the youth but it was cancelled, so instead we made chocolate chip cookies, played in the snow, and Chase shoveled. The other day I told Chase I am so ready for summer, and we have months left of snow, so I'm sucking it up and just embracing it. I'm going to be brainstorming as much as my brain will allow for things to do in the snow, or fun things to do inside. Let me know if you have any great ideas! Tyler just came downstairs to tell Halle that they are headed out again to play for the second time , and Chase is headed out to shovel for the third time! Halle opted out this time to watch Barbie and the Diamond Castle...she loves that movie:)

How many times have I said "Don't eat the snow, it's gross!"
Halle is so coordinated with her snow attire, whatever works right? Can you even see big girl?
Tyler making a snow angel.

Chase just shoveling away, what a guy!

Making snow angels. You can't tell from the pic but snow was coming down pretty good, it was deep, and getting in their faces but I still think they had fun:)

Happy Birthday Dear Halle

Happy Birthday Sweet girl! We love you so much! Halle loves birthdays so much, and hers just happens to fall right on Christmas day. She thinks that sharing her birthday with the birth of Jesus is so special, that will probably change someday, but we hope to always make it a special day for her. She loves birthdays so much and couldn't wait for hers. For the last 3 weeks the bedtime song of choice was "Happy birthday" and when we would get to the "dear Halle" part she would get a huge grin on her face. We are thankful that we have friends that wanted to party with us on Christmas evening, it meant a lot to us and especially Halle. She loved her castle cake (ha ha the joke between Chase and I was that it looked like a project that my nieces Brianna age 8 and Emily age 6 would have done a better job at:) Halle got a Cinderella scooter to cruise on when the weather warms up. I can't believe you are three years old Halle and such a big girl, could you slow down on the growing up??? please!
